Lisbon the Pastel de Nata of Portugal

The Pastel de Nata (custard tarts) of Lisbon, Portugal. The birthplace dating back to 1834. created by the monks at the monastery.

The best time to visit is Lisbon is from March to May and from September to October. the coastal capital city Portugual

The town square, Praça do Comércio, is a plaza containing various restaurants and shops. A local shop, O Mundo Fantástico da Sardinha, is located near here. In the plaza you will find various shops and restaurants of all sorts.

Belém Tower and National Pantheon

Both are historical landmarks located near the Alfama district. There are several tours that will walk you through the districts and histroical sites. The tours cover most of the main parts of the area.

Praça do Comércio and Jerónimos Monastery

It is located near the Tagus river. The monastery. The stone carvings, large pillars, tall stained-glass windows, and a gold-painted wooden display are shown below. The pillars were modeled on palm trees, as the architect loved them and drew inspiration from them for the monastery’s design.

The interior and exterior details make them remarkable. The inside was just as beautiful as the outside. Lisbon has so many beautiful buildings.

Alfama District

The oldest district in Lisbon located near the Tagus River and São Jorge Castle. 

The view at the top is beautiful, filled with vendors selling handmade items paintings, jewelry, handbags, and wallets. musicians played their guitars for the crowds. We decided to stay after the tour ended and wander around town, taking in the various sites and views.
